Hey.
I'm Mark.

leader. {developer.} engineer. technologist. learner.

Welcome to the Jungle! I mean... desert?

Do you interact with technology in any way, shape or fashion? (Please say yes, otherwise, this is about to get awkward.)

If you do (and let's be honest, who doesn't these days), then welcome to your new favorite corner of the internet! I'm that guy — you know, the one in the family who gets all the “my printer doesn’t work” and “can you fix my phone?” texts.

But beyond being the unofficial family “IT department", I’ve spent over a decade wrangling servers, taming codebases (and sometimes crying over them), and leading development teams. Basically, if it plugs in, compiles, or throws cryptic error messages at 2 a.m., I’ve probably dealt with it.

I've seen things. Scary things. Like spaghetti code that should be classified as a federal crime and servers held together by duct tape and hope.

What is this site about?

This site isn’t just a place for me to share what I’ve learned in tech — I want it to be a space for the whole community to exchange insights, lessons, and the kind of stories that make you say, “Yep, been there.” Sure, I’ve got plenty to say, but I want this blog to thrive on community-driven content.

Tech isn’t just for “IT” people anymore — it’s woven into every part of our lives. And honestly? It’s high time we stop treating it like an exclusive club for the so-called “technical” folks. Let’s open the doors, share what we know, and make the tech world more accessible for everyone.

My goal is to build a space where real people share real stories — the kind that teach, inspire, and maybe even save someone from making the same mistakes we've all made. Let’s learn from each other, and make the community a little stronger (and a lot wiser), together.
